The SNIA Green Storage TWG Taxonomy divides the spectrum of storage products into a number of product complexity levels, represented as rows in the following chart. It also separates them by functional aspect, as shown in the columns. Note the shaded areas are not covered by the currently released version of the Specification. Columns for Networking and Adjunct equipment are also grayed out in the Spec at present.
